Empty of you
your dresses

alive on the line
dancing passionately
with an invisible breeze

all airs
& graces

it flamenco’s them
with consummate ease.

They sleep quietly
at night

their red & white
caressed with moonlight and its imaginings.
.

Now, at noon
you gather them in

resplendent in
sunlight

tired like fairytale princesses
with their secret dancings.

That night
(I all in white)

walk out with you
(to the astonishment of stars)

you ravishingly red

pretty as sin

proud

dressed as you are

wearing the wind
moonlight & sunlight
of previous days.
