Dónall Dempsey - DIFFERENT COLOURED TEARS(for the only One)

Blind
from birth

the Present
exists

only as a darkness
with voices

floating
on the surface

of
it.

Each eye
oddly a different colour.

One glows green
one blooms a brilliant blue

hidden behind
dark glasses

which when
he removes them

looks alien
dangerous

and perhaps
he is.

Green eye
sees only

(the Past) .

Blue eye
only sees

the (Future)

Seeing nothing...yet... seeing all.

Time visits him
& he sees


what is to be
what is...past.

Only the Present
exists

as a
darkness

voices floating
on the surface

of
it.

Tears in his eyes.
