either there was none there
or
if it was...then it was

shaved into
an exclamation point!
...or a question mark?

Or like
buried treasure
an X
marked the spot!

Or it could be
shaped or colored.

Sometimes the Stars & Stripes
or a Union Jack
or especially for me
an Irish tricolor

leaving me
standing to attention
I saluting your imagination!

Or my favorite
a very realistic Sheila Na Gig
how…tautological!

You so creative
(in so surprising ways)
I felt so
drab beside your
flying flags & perfectly precise punctuation

not to mention
your rings & things
(oh the tinkle of that little bell)
& tattooed snakes
squirming into...

& sunbursts exploding out of
your private parts
(there’s that little bell again) .
I was such a
grey area

but you said you didn’t mind
(you fell in love
with the kindness of my mind
& that I was
all heart)

& if it came to
Pubic Art
you had enough
for two
& all I could do
was agree with you!
