Dyna Misery - Unpretty

I'm glad I'm not pretty
For the beautiful people I feel pity
What a burden it would be
To have so many people around everyday
loving me and giving me my way
It's better to look the way I do
Most people never notice
In fact they look right through
If I were pretty
I'd have my choice of lovers you see
It would be such a bother
to have to pick one over another
So it's better to be
someone as plain as me
because not even the man I wed
notices me in his bed
So I am alone
Surrounded by people but on my own
Who needs happiness and a pretty face
when you can be alone even in a crowded place
