Dylan Brown - These Darkened Hearts

Darkened hearts drown in jealousy,
Screaming from your hypocrisy,
Dieing is your friend no longer, now your enemy

Fleeing the sight of familiar faces,
Hiding in the shadows, running distant races
Fall, back and forth he paces
Waiting for the news on his dear children’s cases

Bring down the sky, one piece at a time,
Burn in the ashes of a long forgotten memory,
Or listen to the taunting rhyme,
For in it is the answers you seek.

Failing and flailing and falling and dieing,
All strong powerful notions, when once you were flying.
Struck down in the strife caused by your own lying,
Now listen to your dieing family, their crying.

Those immense words shall all be forgot
All but a few glorious souls,
Shall remember the name of the evil they fought
The die of chance now once again rolls,

And like the die, your life tumbles and turns,
Insanity, and abnormality, to these I plea guilty,
And in the end you shall looks at your hands, they are filthy,
Your soul falls now, Ha freedom it yearns?

A little late for salvation, for you’ve made your pick
You will rot forevermore, your mortal head on a stick

For love lost, and love not earned or gained,
Love doesn’t exist for me, my heart is pained.
My darkened heart, drowning in my black shadow…
