Duterte monitors global COVID-19 situation

Malcañang said President Duterte continues to monitor the global COVID-19 situation, while focusing on the country’s determined efforts to stem the tide of the pandemic but also worldwide updates.

In a virtual press briefing, Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo said that despite the conclusion of his 14-day quarantine, Duterte will stay and work from his official residence to monitor the pandemic and lead the government’s efforts to contain the COVID-19 outbreak.
