Dutch hostage standoff ends with suspect arrested

The #hostages in the #Netherlands have all been released after police arrested a suspect. A search for explosives continues after authorities evacuated 150 homes in the town of Ede.
Police say the suspect was armed with several knives. They did not identify a motive, but said they did not believe the incident was a terror attack. Local prosecutor Marthyne Kunst said the man was known to law enforcement and had been convicted of threatening behavior in another case.
