A Duratech Firestop Radiation Shield is installed where a chimney passes through a ceiling or floor without a support box. It adjusts for different joist heights and attaches to the underside of the ceiling. Keeps pipe centered as you pass through the joist to maintain your 2" clearance to combustibles.
