Ducklings Saved From Memphis Storm Drain

Description
Shara Fenell climbed down into a Memphis storm drain to help reunite some stranded ducklings with their mother on Tuesday, May 29.
Fenell’s friend Yolanda Hargrove captured the charming rescue on video. “We noticed the momma duck on the street when we were headed to Havana Mix. Two hours later the duck was still there. We stopped to see what was wrong and a woman told us the ducklings had fallen into the sewer,” Fenell told Storyful via Facebook. “That’s when we decided to help! We both wanted to get in…but Shara jumped in and I happily recorded my sweet friend save the ducklings.”
The rescue mission happened a short distance away from Memphis’ Peabody Hotel, which is famous for hosting a flock of ducks in its lobby fountain. Credit: Yolanda Hargrove via Storyful
