One night in 1918, during World War I, an Australian soldier got drunk and decided to “borrow” a tank.
He drove it through enemy lines, blasting shells in every direction.
The Germans panicked, thinking a full assault had begun. They surrendered — to one man.
When his officers finally caught up, they found him asleep in the tank.
He woke up confused and said, “Did we win?”
Yes. Yes, he did.
