Drug manufacturing

Manufacture or cultivation of any of the illegal drugs is prohibited by federal and state laws. Drug manufacture is a process of production, preparation or conversion of controlled substances by means of chemical processes. Drug manufacturing occurs when a person is involved in any step of illegal drug production. Drug cultivation means that the person is growing plants that are included in the group of controlled substances, these usually are marijuana, opium or hallucinogenic plants. So it is prohibited to grow, possess or produce plants which substances are used in production of illegal drugs and produce illegal substances that derive from plants such as cocaine. Drug manufacturing or cultivation is considered to be a more serious crime than drug possession, because it is mostly linked to drug distribution. If a person possess that are used in cultivation posses, plant's seeds, grow lamps or hydroponic equipment, that could create evidence of drug cultivation. Drug manufacture evidences consist of possession of chemicals, specialized equipment or drug lab.
