A driver named Kayla Squires narrowly avoided a collision with a car swerving uncontrollably on a highway slicked with rain in St. John’s, Newfoundland, on July 15.In the video, a car is seen fishtailing before it spins around, coming very close to hitting Squires’ vehicle head-on. Squires is heard in the video telling the other driver “you need to slow down, sweetheart.” The driver responded, “I was only doing 110 [km/h].” The posted speed limit on Outer Ring Road, where the incident occurred, is 62mph (100km/h).
