Dritan Zaimi - Without Identity

I go mad
Whenever I judge my self.
I am so little of the stuff
I wanted to be.
My mind and heart
each seem to have come
from a different origin.
How can they be
In harmony within?

I have been lost
through years gone
and now I don't know
What shall of me become.
For neither heart
nor brain performs,
things pass smoothly
and no one takes the response.

I am not the man
I was supposed to be
Neither did I turn out
the other way of me.
And what about God?
I wonder what
shall He judge in me?
The person He was expecting to see
Or the one I never turned out to be.
For I am none of them.
