The output pressure on the Drill Powered Hydrostatic Test Pump is easily adjusted simply by turning a knob and watching the attached gauge. A built-in bypass allows for automatic water recirculation once the set pressure is reached. The hose-to-pump connection features a quick disconnect with built-in check valve, which allows for convenient setup and portability. Each test pump includes a high pressure EHTPOUTHOSE for filling the system. REED offers both 110V and 220V models, along with a drill-powered unit. Electric pumps have a frequency of 50/60 Hz. The DPHTP500 uses a 1/2" chuck on a corded drill or a cordless drill 18V or higher, capable of 1500 RPM. The separate drill power source keeps weight off the pump, making it lightweight and portable. Drill motor can be run in FORWARD or reverse, saving the life of the drill.
