Dramatic Timelapse Shows Lake Lure Wildfire

A number of wildfires have broken out in western North Carolina, which is also in the midst of a significant drought. This video timelapse shows a fire developing in the Lake Lure area.</a>

Lake Lure, a popular mountain destination popularized by the movie Dirty Dancing, experienced one of the most devastating fires the area has ever seen, reaching nearly 3,000 acres burned.
