You bloom like a sunflower
I, a sad legend stare at you,
our coronation takes place.

I feel my sedulous body is yours,
my virginal heart wide open
to your frenetic passion
when time slows down and waits.

No more the fear-capped dews
drip from above
for the grief of separation.
If you are the silky morning
I am your sober sunshine,
If I am a lusty night
you are my dark desires.

You are born from us
so you are fixed in me.
In my fullness
I have known you forever.

Aren't you one nutating behind
exuberant moonbeans
with dreams and despairs
of a deserted one?
Aren't you one
swimming in the deep sea
of a torrid woman?

Sometimes a bragging butterfly
hopping from top to top!
a white kite of newness!
Sometimes a summer palm
empty of fruits!
At times a humming bee
sans humour!

You are
my sequestered shadow
covering my nudity
in the anxiety of time.
I am an empty basket
of expectancy
and you are my bakul flowers
filled in and full secured.

My Kanha, my Krishna, my Murari,
the apple of the eye of Brindavan,
you are the bond between life and lifeless...
