Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has reiterated that he has made a pledge to step down and make way for Anwar Ibrahim.
Mahathir, who sacked Anwar as his deputy in 1998 during the nonagenarian's first tenure as prime minister, has pledged to hand over the reins to the PKR president within two years.
