Dr. Death dies

Jack Kevorkian, nicknamed "Dr Death" for helping the terminally ill end their lives, has died in the United States.
The 83-year-old was credited with starting a debate in the U-S over the right of patients to end their own lives.
He had also been criminally charged numerous times, and in 1999 was convicted of second degree murder.
Kevorkian always claimed one need not be dying to have the right to die.
