Down by the old apple tree--that's the place I want to be.
You'll surely find the gang all there. Each day when school
is all done, there's bound to be some fun. You bet! Gettin'
ready for swimmin' someone yells "women" and away you run!

It's there you read Captain Kidd and want to do the
things he did and as a pirate sail across the sea.

Before we get a chance to cross the foam, mother comes
and chases all the pirates home down by the old apple tree.
