Hovering exultantly from the mid-night oil
Searching with eyes on pages of men
Quietly arrayed, your peaceful clamour
For a quest unknown to thee alone.

Whiskers spicy, gently absorbing
The reasoning of minds, devoted learner
Crouching tenderly on my reasoning fortress
My reading attendant, quietly displayed
Like a floating messenger, sent from above.

Tiny cutie, your minute posture
Enclouded safely in your spotless layer
Peaceful merchant from a sailing night
My reading companion, my flying beetle.
