But instead of celebrating, markets reacted negatively with the Dow shedding more than 500 points. Obama has argued that he inherited a bad economy. But three years in, he now has to start owning the economic situation. With the US and global economy full of uncertainty, investors can't seem to find a safe haven for their money. Will all this economic disaster put a damper on Obama's 50th birthday party?
