Douglas ClearyMaxwell - Between Heaven and Hell

When there's nothing left to offer and your bones begin to break.
The world recycles you into a deathly state.
The days become much harder feeling easily abused.
There is not much left of my slowly burning fuse.

Now that I am here i'd like to have a drink, so that everything I remember shall become erased.
So won't you join me have a seat?
We'll ponder why are lives are beat.

And when we find out we will know.
This world is just so very cold.
Our souls will travel to the stars.
Although Heaven will reject my call.
Hell awaits with open arms.

Your halo will surely glow while I dwell deep down below.
Yes are paths will cross again but nothing more then friends.
Take it by a grain of salt our emotions locked inside a vault.
But for now I will rest where the fire surely grows.
