DOST Secretary Renato Solidum Jr. told The Manila Times that enabling LGUs to contextualize and localize preparedness strategies is key to empowering them with climate resilience.
On Tuesday, DOST turned over the Handa Pilipinas Local Caravan Guidebook in Zamboanga. The guidebook serves as a science-based reference to empower LGUs with tools for disaster risk reduction and management.
