Dorothy (Alves) Holmes - Descending into Hell
2 Views • Jun 14, 2014
Description
No refuge in drink
Down into darkness I seem to sink
Days are endless
Nights are long
On my lips there is no song
I pace the floor for hours on end
My nerves are shattered
My patience thin
My mind is in a turmoil
I can't settle down
I try to smile yet instead I frown
I feel caught in a webb
Of misery never ending
As though life has left me
And I am descending into a hell
Far worse than that promised all sinners.
