Doris Niswonger - Except For Her God

Her demeanor was one of confidence
As she applied her makeup ever so carefully.
She was as beautiful as we had hoped.
Our dreams were to be fulfilled
In this miss of 'soon to be mature.'
So much time of preparation
Had been invested in her
But she was worth it!
She was quickly becoming a woman,
Who stands alone in this word,
Except for her God.
Today, she paid a visit to her therapist
Who told her what she already knew!
