Dorian Gray is not simply a famous literary character, but also a symbolic representation of all that exists beyond space and time. The homonymous band comes from one of the most fertile seasons of the Italian underground culture - the Nineties - and develops through memorable tours (first European band in the People's Republic of China), peculiar songs (Davide Catinari received the Lunezia best lyrics prize from the hands of Fernanda Pivano - Beat generations' Italian official translator and most relevant expert - in 1999) and a conspicuous as well as original discography ("Shamano", 1992, "Matamoros", 1995, " Il veleno della mente", 1997, "Tempi supplementari", 2003, "Forse il sole ci odia", 2008). The new course of Dorian Gray springs from this last album, and includes concerts in Italy and abroad - London, Berlin, Hamburg - and the career award received from the band during the M.E.I. (Meeting delle Etichette Indipendenti, Italian most important indie music institution) in 2009, attesting the relevant value of this project.
