I need to fall in love with someone again,
But I haven't yet stepped out of my pain,
I hope I can fall in love with someone again,
But each time I try it seems I try in vain.

I need to fall in love with someone like you,
But I can't stop thinking we won't make it through,
The big hole in me that only I can view,
And all because of a love that was untrue.

I want to fall in love with someone again,
Yet I know that if I try I'll not remain sane,
I can't help but fall in love with someone again,
But I still hold the feeling all others truly feign,

I've fallen in love with someone like you,
It seems that from the start I've already known,
I hope you won't say no when your heart I pursue,
And maybe at last someone will fall in love with me too.
