Doom and Gloom - Without company

I must confess that I am scared
Every moment of every day
My happiness has been impaired
I fail to keep the fear at bay

I must confess I’m terrified
In every thought & every word
Griped by dread and petrified
Anxious, nervous & perturbed

I am scared to death of loosing you
The one I love so very deep
Of loneliness & solitude
An empty bed in which to sleep

I am scared of dying all alone
Sobbing tears and racking breath
With no love, to call my own
No grief shown to mark my death
