That moved like a wraith at the edge of your sight.
That melted away as you turned on the light.

Did you hear that noise at night?
That awoke you from sleep with panic and fright
That seemed out of place & not quite right

Did you feel that touch at night?
Upon your throat so very tight
Until your world is burning white
