Doom and Gloom - Choices

Should I simply end my life?
Would save you all a load of pain
With the dragging of a knife
Deep across my bloody vein

Should I simply fade and die?
Would take the burden off your back
Hurl my body through the sky
Upon the concrete I would crack

Should I simply leave the stage?
May haps that would give you hope?
Choke myself within a rage
Limply hang from rugged rope

Should I simply disappear?
Leave you happy far behind
Submerse myself without fear
Float away for none to find

Should I simply face my doom?
I don’t think you’d be proud of me
Breathe in deep the poison fume
And sleep in peace eternally

Should I simply cease to be?
Close my eyes and shut it down
Devoid of what’s sustaining me
Waste away without a sound
