Doom and Gloom - Alone

I know I’m not the only one
Who sits alone as time goes by
Whose failures mount the more I try
Whose pain just grows the more I cry
Who turns from life and hopes to die
Yet still I feel alone

I know that others have it worse
Who feel their pain is so unique
Who feel their future is so bleak
Who feel they want to moan and shriek
Who feel they’re broken frail and weak
Yet still I feel alone

I know that others feel it to
Has a time when life seems so unkind
Has a time when love is hard to find
Have times when they are left behind
Have times when they can loose their minds
Yet still I feel alone

I know that everyone has pain
We all will stumble in the night
We all will miss the guiding light
We all wish life would treat us right
We all want help in deepest plight
Yet still we feel alone
