You may think a treasure
Is just gold in a pot
But it can be anything
That to you means a lot

It can be a person
or it can be a book
It can be almost anything
Just open your eyes and look

A treasure can be big
or it can be small
It doesn't have to be
Anything material at all

It can be a feeling
or a thought in your mind
But any treasure at all
Is sure to be one of a kind

Because we all are different
Our treasures would be to
What means the world to me
May mean nothing to you

They're a special kind of something
That maybe you cannot see
But a treasure is a treasure
Whatever it might be.
