We may think we understand what every raised ear or tail wag means, but the behavior of a canine often has us scratching our heads.
Dogs certainly do strange things, but they have their reasons.

Butt Sniffing.
It may come off as a little awkward or embarrassing, but to dogs, it's a courteous way to say "hello." Dogs have over 150 million olfactory receptors in their nose.

Hanging Out of Moving Cars.
Canines experience sensory overload while traveling in a car. They often seem happy to have their face pummeled by wind.

So your dog is staring directly into your eyes as they poop. Maybe they want some privacy? Yeah, probably not. Experts say that dogs who stare as they poop may simply be hoping for a reward for relieving themselves outdoors, as opposed to inside.

Zooming Around at Hyper-Speed.
FRAPS (frenetic random activity periods) are best known as "the zoomies." These frenetic bursts help your puppy to release pent-up energy.
