Description

As previously reported, the global crypto market cap is dropping, bringing down tokens around the world. As apex tokens like Bitcoin continue to bottom out, they are bringing down meme tokens like Dogecoin. Over the past 7 days, Dogecoin has lost nearly 19%, losing almost a percent to Bitcoin. However, Dogecoin somehow rose 2% against Ethereum. In the past 30 days, investors have lost over 37% on Dogecoin and over 29% in the past 90 days. Not only has the China Evergrande ($EGRNF@China) crisis caused fluctuations in the crypto market, but electricity shortages in Kazakhstan are pushing down crypto values. On a related note, Elon Musk took to Twitter ($TWTR@US) to joke that he should become an influencer full-time, attracting attention for himself and Dogecoin, of which he is a strong proponent. Analysts even joked in reply, noting that Musk would likely shill for Dogecoin. At press time, DOGE fell over 2%, sitting at 17.27 cents, nearly a cent off its 24-hour high.
