Dogecoin Dips While Others Rise
Description
Dogecoin had a relatively benign day as it picked up nearly a percent overnight, losing between 3 and 4% to Bitcoin and Ethereum, but maintaining a streak that has seen 20% growth in the past week and more than 16% growth in the past 30 days. Compared to bigger tokens, however, Dogecoin did not have as much success, with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Cardano sitting at the top of the list of the most mentioned tokens on Twitter ($TWTR@US). Plus, Dogecoin was struck by a new tax in India that will impact each trade, causing many investors to pull back their support. At press time, Dogecoin was trading at 14.62 cents, down more than 2% in early activity.
