How would one go about hacking a Segway?

Apparently, it’s not very hard at all.</a>

Cybersecurity firm IOActive was able to hack a Segway Minipro through the device’s phone app.

The app connects to the high-end hoverboard via bluetooth, which leaves its firmware vulnerable to overrides.

This allows hackers to take control and remotely drive it away. Or even stop a rider mid-motion.

IOActive says</a> Segway needs to improve its security and encrypt the firmware.
