Description

The World Health Organization announced yesterday that our beloved mobile communication devices may cause cancer, which puts mobile (cell) phones in the same category as car exhaust, chloroform, and lead.

This news comes after studies showing that exposure to a transmitting phone pressed against your ear for 50 minutes causes increased brain glucose and activity in the areas closest to the device. The form of radiation emitted from these devices is referred to as non-ionizing, which is similar to that of a low-powered microwave oven as opposed to an X-ray.
