DMU: STOP BUILDING COMMUNITY CENTRES
Description
Stop building community centres. That's the message from the Disaster Management Unit to the authorities.
It comes as inadequacies in the system for emergency shelters in times of disaster have been raised at a Joint Select Committee examining the disaster risk reduction framework.
