And walked away real fast
A prisoner of my own heart
I never thought such pain exists

And now it aches with every thought
The walls are covered with our photographs
Blood spattered all around
And my tear ducts have failed to clot

Rusting within these walls
Can see you smiling with another
Here’s my early valentine gift
My heart inside a box

Dreaming of a state of mind
Where you and I are still as one
Hoping to never wake up
And see the knife that’s sticking out of me
