DIY Lithium Battery Pack using 18650 cells

This video shows how to build custom 18v lithium battery pack conversion for a black and decker cordless drill using 18650 lithium ion cells harvested from used laptop batteries. Cell layout, soldering and balance leads how-to will be discussed. It is important to use a low voltage alarm to ensure the battery does not discharge below manufure specification. Also, use a lithium balance charger, such as iMAX B6, to charge the battery cells.\r
