Divided Sarajevo strives for reintegration

In four years both parts of the divided city of Sarajevo will be hosting the European Olympic Youth Festival. Bosnia and Hercegovina comprises two parts- the Muslim-Croat Federation, with Sarajevo its capital, and the mainly Serb Republika Srpska, whose official capital is East Sarajevo. Both city administrations say they hope co-operating over sports can have wider implications. At the moment one of the main things the two sides share is scars of the civil war.
