The government's 5 percent stake sale in power producer NTPC got off to a decent start. The issue was subscribed 1.8 times. The government hopes that this sale will fetch it a little over Rs 5000 crore. In an exclusive chat with ET NOW, Divestment Secretary Neeraj Kumar Gupta said that the response was good from both FIIs as well as retail investors.
