Dislocated Heart - The smoke with clouded thoughts..

Lungs filled with smoke,
He speaks of love.. love.. love..
The only thing that makes a Man kneel to the ground and bow..
He speaks of her.. as if Queens of heavens and Lovers of everlasting.
His Love I could tell.. would never subside..
He tells... as I sat with him..
'I cant seem to let your mother go...'

I almost broke down.. seeing my own mom, torture him, by showing up with other men..
What is this? ! Love isnt a game.
She cried for years.. she makes him do the same..
He lost over 30 pounds.. lost his belly that made him so proud.
He walked among the streets with lies on his back..
as if a 'Kick me' sign was stapled into his old poor soul.

He told me.. looked in my eyes.. 'Son, love hurts...'
He emptied out his pockets.. with less then 200...
giving me half..

He tried to make a joke out of it all..
making things serious.. to the point.. where he started to cry..
a cig to his mouth..
for years of seeing him..
I finally see a side that made me respect him..

Gambles, Lies, Cheats.. put aside..

Today I can honest say..
I am not ashame.. He has done all he can..
Tho I've hated him more than half my life..
He deserves respect..
