Dislocated Heart - Perhaps

The stars start to twinkle,
as the light goes out..
I used to wish upon them..
but it always gave doubt.

Hope you must be somewhere..
Soon you might be found.
Grace I could need you,
for I can't stand my ground.
Mercy please..
go easy on me.
Why, I'm praying here..
for simple release.

A helping hand perhaps..
its all I need..
Save me from this nightmare..
as the thoughts start to devour me.

Emptiness.. here.. you may have this spot..
fill me with holes, and disregard my thoughts.
Pain, you have settled in quite well yourself..
it's sad, you're my only company worthwhile as well.
Suffering you bring, the only joy to my world..
I guess.. I don't need anything else.. except for suffering.. in my sad little world.
