Dislocated Heart - dream..in tears.

For the longest time, all I felt was numb inside.
I woken up to a dream, that just made me realized..
All the things I took for granted..

I woke up in sweat, in tears, why?
I dont even kno..
Its was like I had to get my emotions out,
for the years I kept it all in.

I sat up in bed, with the same dream in mind,
I had no idea, but I started to cry.
It wasnt sad, Its just a divorce.

But that dream, felt so real.

With my dad, just like old times.
Watchin football, or movies at home.
Playin card games, actin a fool.
Then out of no where,
My mom calls..
With a gently voice I heard..
She talks sweet and kind..
the second my dad hear,
you knew he wanted to melt inside,
go into a shell, and hide.

He cried, just as he did,
when we called me all those nights.

I sat in bed, in my tears..
askin myself,
What is wrong with me...
never bothered me before,
why now?
