Dislocated Heart - Calm..2013

The wind is blowing,
can hardly hold my position,
the ice is breaking,
can hardly feel the warmth.
the waves are coming,
so I stand still..

watching it brush up to my toes..
ankles,
knees,
as I sink into the sand..

I'll stand steady...
and I'll wait quietly..

for a bird to come and sweep me off my feet..
carry me to a far land..
where it's just me..

Peace and quiet, just right now.. is all I need.
