Dislocated Heart - 'Alone in Love'

could someone really be 'alone in love'?
i mean.. to love them so much..
and them not even know.
to see them walk away and into..
another persons arms..
as you send them away, putting a smile on your face..
that heartache..

seeing them happy is always a great thing..
but i guess i ask myself..
why cant i be that guy?
what does he have that i dont?
as hard as i try...
she'll never be mines...
so.. all i can say...im happy for you,
and..
i guess there is such thing as 'alone in love'
