Drawing inspiration from artists such as Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes and Tallest Man on Earth ...23 year old Direwolf (Matt Dewar) is a stout product of the undiscovered indie/folk movement.
From the early days of youth on the north side of Sydney - Direwolf has crafted and personalized skill throughout many walks of musical callings. Which after years of playing and performing has granted him feedback such as:

"Gets under your skin, pulls at the heart strings till they fray and break...such a beautiful song, voice and sentiment. Have seen Direwolf perform this song live and it blew me away!"

Over time, Direwolf has favoured a number of Sydney shows including Oxford Arts Factory, FBI Social and Little Features. Which he has performed at numerous times.

After many years of sifting through dozens of heart bleeding songs, Direwolf's debut single "Goodbye" which was written about a horrible personal tragedy will be digitally released on the 28th of October 2013.
