Dipankar Sadhukhan - 21. When We Met

Before our meeting each other
Our hearts were hard like rocks.
Love in our hearts was sleeping
Like an inactive volcano.
Our souls were dry like straw
And thoughts were fully lifeless.

When we met each other,
A holy fountain was created
From the Temple of our hearts
And a sacred river of Love
Started flowing smoothly
To make our dry thoughts lively.

The branches of our minds
Were filled with tender leaves
And colourful flowers
Of holy and pure Love.
Our souls became mature
By embracing each other gently.

When our lips kissed
Each other passionately,
Our Love touched Divinity
And Ecstasy started dancing
With the rhythm of melody
Of our Divine Love.
