Dior shines with stripes

Stripes and shine are the key ingredients of Dior's Fall 2013 collection.

The fashion house debuted the eclectic line on the grounds of the French capital's Invalides monument during Paris haute couture fashion week.

Houndstooth was revamped with warm oranges and yellows among the classic black-and-white.

American actress Jennifer Lawrence and American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour watched as thick fur contrasted with flounced pleating and slick, plastic-like silvers in a riotous collection drawing on a range of influences.

The presentation marks the second day of shows, which ends on July 4th.
